We'd only lose the access to Sporepedia) Spore was an online single-player experience (it required an Internet connection to access the Sporepedia, which was a big part of the game, as it pulled the creatures we found in-game from it. TS4 has reminded me of Spore quite a lot. We could ignore that step, but we wouldn't be able to access Sporepedia (I mean, I think we could, but we wouldn't have access to other player's creations, only our own) However, we had to log in when we started the game. I really liked Spore, and I still play it, and as far as I can remember, Sporepedia (if we had a stable internet connection) did not have a lot of issues (aside from a giant bug it had).
